Uncovered Zoom Security Flaw

A timeline of every Zoom security flaw uncovered so far:-

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟲
An investigation by Motherboard revealed that Zoom’s iOS app was sending user analytics data to Facebook, even for Zoom users who did not have a Facebook account.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟬
Another separate investigation by Intercept found that Zoom doesn’t use end-to-end encryption as promised. A bug was also discovered that allowed other malicious players to gain access to your webcam and microphone.

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭
Motherboard again exposed another security flaw in the app for leaking users’ email addresses and photos.

Security researchers found out that an automated tool was able to uncover meeting IDs.

Nail in the coffin: Thousands of recordings of private Zoom video calls are left exposed on the open web.
